Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at Tom and Jaime's house this year. Jaime and I switch off every year. Cleo was so tired. She fell asleep even with all the noise of the kids around her and my loud mouth jabbering away. And I know what you must be thinking about her bow, but what do you do with a bald head? I don't care, I liked it!!It was nice to have Grandma Coombs with us. It was fun visiting with her and watching her enjoy Cleo. She really loved holding her.Wish you were here? Yummy! Thanks to Jaime, family and my yams of course!Grandma Joyce and pretty little Leah. Isn't she a doll?Jolene all relaxed. My dad was working out the knots in our necks. It was so nice. He has a gift for that! I was making all these horrible faces but Jolene took it like a champ :)Lillian and Isabel enjoying Turkey day!Chad made it in time for dinner. He was home sleeping because he had to work later. How sweet. Jolene and I with our babies.Chad got his hair cut the other day and after taking a shower noticed how bad it was so Jaime fixed it for him. Thanks Jaime. (Notice Jolene in the background. That gave us a laugh!)They are so goofy!
Chad asked me how his hair looked so I snapped a ridiculously close picture to make him mad. It worked! ha ha!!
Tom in the Kitchen! Nothing new.
Kaitlyn reading to Carrie and Anthony.
Taylor reading to Cleo. She was waiting to hold her all day and finally got her turn!

My Baby is 9! Happy Birthday Kaitlyn!!!

Kaitlyn's Birthday Party

Saturday we celebrated Kaitlyn's 9th birthday with her friends at our house.I decided this year that making jewelry was the answer. (Very quiet too!) I didn't tell Kaitlyn my plans so she would be surprised with her friends. They had fun making bracelets and necklaces. They were all very creative and had good designs.Poor Gavin didn't last long after I pulled him a chair to sit. Thank you Kristen for coming for the day with Halle, Gavin and Isaac. Also Grandpa Dan and Grandma Pam. Kaitlyn was sad to see you guys go.This is what these to crazy kiddos did most of the time. Lily and Gavin are too much. They play really well together which was good since Gav man wasn't digin' the girlie party. Thanks for all the clothes. Kaitlyn was loving them all. She needed them badly. Can you say "DRAMA"! And the Academy Award goes to Kaitlyn Williams!!!Lots of gifts. Great art stuff. Another passion of hers.Kaitlyn is collecting snow globes now. She loves them :)Kristen, Jolene and baby LeahCake time! We hope your wish comes true! Love you Kaitlyn. Happy Birthday! :)

District Oral Language Festival

I am so glad Kaitlyn got to have this experience in 4th grade this year. She is a very determined girl and she works really hard. She was sad that she will not be competing any further but she had a good time. Being so young, it's still a little hard for her to be happy for the kids who got the trophies but at least she didn't rip up her certificate like some did. When Kaitlyn got home and told me this, I changed my mind as to how good her sportsmanship is. At least she gave her certificate to me so I can put it in her memory book. It's a great memory! :) Thank you Kaitlyn for your hard work!
I love you!

Oral Language Festival Competition

Kaitlyn competed in the Oral Language Festival this morning. She did a Serious Solo called "The Dance" which I just loved. She did such a good job and got first place out of 12 other students in her category. It was so cute to see her run out of the classroom hugging all of her friends. What can I say. She is our drama queen. She now will compete next Friday in the district competition. She is really excited. Here is the video of her performing her O.L.F. ENJOY!!! (you can pause the other music so you can hear her.)

This picture of the girls was taken before the competition. Isabel had to go to class so I wanted to capture this moment before she had to go.

Kaitlyn snuggling with Lillian after she finished. They drew numbers to see who would go first and she picked #6 and there were 12 students. I thought that was perfect. Not first and not last.

Chad came just in time and snuck in when the first kid was starting. We were texting back and forth so I could tell him the number Kaitlyn had drawn so he knew if he would make it in time. He is still working the grave yard shift. Kaitlyn didn't know he was coming and was so happy to see him there.

Kaitlyn hugging a friend after telling us she was first.

Happy Kaitlyn :)

Lillian was so funny. She tried so hard to get into most of these pictures and managed to in this one. You gotta love her. Isn't she cute?

Kaitlyn really was loving all the attention!

Look at ME!!! We love you Kaitlyn!!!

Cleo and Leah

Today Cleo is four months old. The time is going by so fast. Yesterday Jolene came over to visit because she wanted me to help her make some hair bows for Leah. We decided to put Cleo and Leah together in the cradle so we could get some work done. It didn't last long but they were so cute that I had to take some pictures of them. I'm glad I did because I realized that I didn't have any of them together.

Good Job Kaitlyn!!!

"A" HONOR ROLL We are so proud of our super student! Kaitlyn has worked so hard this first quarter in fourth grade and she did it. She made the "A" Honor Roll. She couldn't wait to show us her certificate. I think this even topped getting Student of the Month last year which was a huge deal for her. Keep up the good work Kaitlyn! We love you very much :)

Happy Halloween!

My girls were so ready to go trick or treating. We decided to go to Jaime's neighborhood this year so we knocked on a few doors in our neighborhood before we left. The girls were so excited to be with their cousins.Katie was having fun for the camera. She has never been shy.It took Isabel a while to get into character. She didn't want to cheer until I told her she looked boring in all the pictures I was taking.Lily was throwing her hips all over the place. I had to tell her to tone it down a bit. It's funny how different each one of my children are. She does make a good Wonder Woman but there's a good reason why she doesn't have a rope! This is the other $2 shirt I bought. I made her hair bow last minute. I didn't want her to be called a boy with all that orange and black. Lily and Luana were so cute together. They were holding hands pretty much the whole time. They get along really well and that is nice to see. This is Ryan and Aaron. They claim to be Shrinking Adults but what ever they are it didn't cost a thing so who cares. They are wearing their dad's clothes. Jaime said that Ryan looks more like Indiana Jones.Still going strong! My girls pumpkins were getting a little heavy and I refused to hold them so I told them that meant they must be done. I never heard another word about it.Jaime and her Angel Carrie. Lily and Luana. As you can see, Luana had enough of her costume.
I guess since I didn't dress up Katie made me look like a bunny :) Ha! I wonder if she will ever stop doing that.
