We finally got out of dodge for a few days! It was way overdue for our family. We desperately needed some time away. Every summer Chad's parents go to the Desert Springs Marriott Resourt and the last time we joined them we were barely married! The kids were so excited and also because Kristen and Eric were coming with their kids. Chad was happy to play golf every day with his dad and I was just looking to relax.
We stopped and ate lunch at Chillis before heading to Palm Springs. The girls already had their bathing suits on. They wanted to swim right away when we got to the resourt.
...but first it's coloring time with Grandpa Dan before the food comes.
Lily just wanted her food.

It was a great time even though Lily hit her head flipping into the pool. She cut her head and they put dermabond (liquid stitches) on the cut. What's a vacation without an E.R. visit? So thanks Lily for giving us a free nights stay! Way to take one for the team!!! :)
