Isabel got off the bus safe and sound. One day down and a million to go. She said she had a really good first day and she really likes her teacher. I hope she has a lot of fun in first grade.
Lily and I walked with the baby to the bus stop. It's not that far but with the heat it seemed a lot longer.
Then came Katie. What I didn't realize is that her bus came only a half hour after Izzy's bus. So after walking back home we were too tired and hot so I drove the car to get Katie.
Katie also had a good day. She really likes her teacher and I know she will have a good year.
