Dinner with Family

We decided to surprise the kids this year and take them to Chad's parents house for Christmas. They thought they were going to Los Angeles for the day. They were a little confused when they had to pack their suitcases but we told them we might have to get a hotel if we can't make it home because of the weather. They were so surprised when we ended up at grandpa and grandma's house. They had a great time with their cousins. On December 23rd we went to BJ's restaurant with Dan, Pam, Kristen and her kids. Then we headed to the mall to see Santa but the line was so darn long we decided we have seen enough of him. I know...Bah! Humbug! The kids didn't seem to care one bit.I didn't take Cleo out of her car seat until we had started eating. She was to cozy in there. Why mess with a good thing. She was happy!Lily stuffing her face. My kids have a thing for noodles. Gees Katie. Take a breath. I think she was almost done before Halle even started!
Isabel even surprised us with her speedy eating. It was pretty impressive. You should have seen her eat the pizookie...she ate it so fast we couldn't believe our eyes. It was all over her arms and I had to take her to the bathroom to wipe it off of her. It was pretty funny!

Family Pictures

This Family picture was taken after Church last Sunday. I was tired of not having a picture of all of us so I used the timer on the camera and it worked out! Kaitlyn just loved her dress. I got all their dresses at Kohl's this year at 50% off. I was really happy with the prices.Isabel got to wear her dress to her school play too. She looks so cute in gold.Lily couldn't wait to wear her Dress. She kept putting it on before she was allowed to. I had to tell her several times to hang it back up and put her jeans back on. It frustrated her so bad!My baby Cleo McKenna. She loved her dress too! Ha Ha! Like she cares. But she sure is a cutie. She is a very photogenic baby! I think that's because she is a very happy baby and always has a smile.

Chad's Work Christmas Party

What can I say about this party! My husband is a goofy and crazy man. I don't mind so much because everyone needs to let loose a little now and then. We sat at the "Mormon" table as the other guys called it. I thought that was funny. We all sat there with our waters acting just as crazy or at least Chad was :)Me and my sweetie! Our good friends Jake and Jen Johnson.
Chad doing what he does best...messing with me right before taking a picture and ruining it. Oh well, here it is anyway!
I found a dress at Macy's just in time. It was a fun night and the food was awesome! Chad got out of dancing and disappointed everyone because Cleo wasn't happy to be with Jaime so we left a little early to get her and the girls. Chad went back to the party to make sure everyone got home safe. I know...I married a good one!

Isabel's New Look!

Isabel showing Cleo her missing tooth after I pulled it out. I told her I should pull it out because she could swallow it while sleeping or loose it in her food at school. She quickly agreed after I told her that. She was so tired but thrilled to have the new look. We put the tooth in a bag ready for the tooth fairy to come and put it under her pillow. She fell asleep so fast last night!Breakfast with her new dollar and a package of socks?...what? Isabel refuses to sleep under her covers because it will mess up her bed so maybe the tooth fairy noticed her feet were cold. WEAR THEM ISABEL! And of course...fairy dust is now sprinkled all over Isabel, her bed, down the hall, and by the front door. It will disappear in a few days:) That's what the kids always say. They try to save it and it never works! mmmmmm....Magic!
Doesn't Cleo look adorable? It was so cold this morning and her little face looked like a doll with that cap on. I kept kissing those sweet cheeks :)

Cute pictures of Cleo!

Chad told me how cute Cleo was while swinging. I couldn't help but take a picture because she was looking at one of the girls princess books. It was so cute ... she looked like she was reading it.
This is the first time I put Cleo in the jumper (a.k.a. Johnny Jump-Up). She loved it! It was fun to watch her bounce and spin...although I think they make better ones these days. Who knows if this thing has been recalled or if this one is the last one being used. My friend Jaci gave it to me when Katie was a baby and her daughter was four years old at the time. I just don't leave Cleo unattended because who knows! I might just be paranoid about it:)

Ward Christmas Party

The girls had a fun time at our ward Christmas party. They were really excited to see Santa and I almost forgot to send Cleo with Katie so you can tell in this picture that she was tossed last minute. It's not easy making four girls look pretty, look straight at the camera, smile, hair out of face, no bunny ears and not cry all at the same time while sitting on Santa's lap. Okay, that just stressed me out!...again :)
They do look cute! I used this picture for my cards. I realized I didn't have a lot of pictures to choose from with all four girls in them.Lily being as cute as ever. She was so funny when it came time to eat. Chris and Jen were so nice to help me with the girls since Chad didn't come. They were all waiting in line while I was feeding Cleo a bottle and a few minutes later Lily sits down with her plate of food. She must have scooted her way to the front and helped herself. I guess she figured she could get food all by herself much quicker. What can I say...she takes after her father. I didn't teach her to do that!!!What a SMILE! I wonder where she gets that from? Isabel is such a ham!Katie is so silly. What is that?...her superhero pose! She loved her sequenced jacket I bought to go with her Christmas dress. I let her wear it with her jeans. It looked really cute :) She looks so grown up!Tara Krumm with my baby. She was so nice to help me so I could eat after she did. Thanks Tara. You are such a good friend! Cleo was so tired. When I took her back she fell asleep so fast.
Chris and Jen Wymore :) It was nice having them at our table. They were a big help! I'm glad they came even though Mariah and Macy couldn't be there. Thank you so much!

Another Super Day!

Isabel is Student of the Month!!!We are so proud of our Isabel. She has been trying so hard this last month to be a better student and she has amazed us all. We are just so pleased with her progress. When her teacher called Wednesday to say that she was Student of the Month it was hard not to tell her because I know what it would mean to her. Way to go Isabel :) We love you so much. You deserve it!Isabel standing with the other first grade Students from the other classes.Lily loves to take pictures so I couldn't help myself but to snap this one. She is always so cute. What's sad is that when we got home she threw up on my living room floor. It's amazing how one minute a child seems fine and the next minute you're rushing them to the nearest bathroom :( My poor sick children right now! This is Chad's sad face for my poor sick baby. He got back from the doctors just in time. They say there is nothing wrong other than a fever and a cough. I think that's plenty wrong if you ask me. (What they meant was that she has no ear infections or anything worse so that's good)
I caught Katie right before she went back to class. What a cheesy smile :) I learned she'll keep a secret if you ask her to. I told her on Wednesday that Isabel was Student of the Month and she never said a word. Thanks so much Katie.

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at Tom and Jaime's house this year. Jaime and I switch off every year. Cleo was so tired. She fell asleep even with all the noise of the kids around her and my loud mouth jabbering away. And I know what you must be thinking about her bow, but what do you do with a bald head? I don't care, I liked it!!It was nice to have Grandma Coombs with us. It was fun visiting with her and watching her enjoy Cleo. She really loved holding her.Wish you were here? Yummy! Thanks to Jaime, family and my yams of course!Grandma Joyce and pretty little Leah. Isn't she a doll?Jolene all relaxed. My dad was working out the knots in our necks. It was so nice. He has a gift for that! I was making all these horrible faces but Jolene took it like a champ :)Lillian and Isabel enjoying Turkey day!Chad made it in time for dinner. He was home sleeping because he had to work later. How sweet. Jolene and I with our babies.Chad got his hair cut the other day and after taking a shower noticed how bad it was so Jaime fixed it for him. Thanks Jaime. (Notice Jolene in the background. That gave us a laugh!)They are so goofy!
Chad asked me how his hair looked so I snapped a ridiculously close picture to make him mad. It worked! ha ha!!
Tom in the Kitchen! Nothing new.
Kaitlyn reading to Carrie and Anthony.
Taylor reading to Cleo. She was waiting to hold her all day and finally got her turn!
